Freezer Fudge

There are several variations you can make with this.

Chocolate Peanut Butter

Salted Almond Butter

Honey Pecan Almond Butter

I start this process by grabbing a small re-useable container. I find that for me a small metal pie pan works great! I line the pie pan with a piece of saran wrap just for easy clean up later.

Next in a mixing bowl I’ll combine:

  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil

  • 3 tablespoons of cacao powder

  • About 1/2 of a cup of almond butter (or sunflower butter works too!)

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 small dash of vanilla extract

  • About 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey (if you find this is not sweet enough for you, you can increase this amount on the next try)

After you have all of your ingredients mixed up then you can pour the mixture into the pan. The saran wrap just keeps you from having to clean the pan afterwards since when it freezes you can lift the entire block of fudge out by the corners of the saran wrap.

This takes anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes to freeze up and then you can cut it and eat it!

Pro tip: I like to top mine with cacao nibs, almonds, walnuts for a bit of crunch.
