Vegan / Vegetarian Budget meals
Using grocery pricing from popular chain Kroger in the Greater Atlanta area, I have created a simple vegan weekly shopping list for a family of 4.
You can pick and choose from this list but if you were to buy everything on the list the 5 day total with left overs to stretch to 7 days would be: 75.00
Galaxy Oatmeal (30 Breakfasts for 34.99)
This breaks down to $7.00 for 5 days
Old fashioned rolled oats: $2.50
Peanut Butter: $1.50
Any protein powder: avg $0.93 per serving [this assumes you’re using a 28.00 / 30 serving tub]
Frozen blueberries: $2.99
Breakfast Burritos (5 LUNCHES for 13.97)
One Sweet Potato = 1.00
One package of just Egg = 4.99
Tri color bell peppers = 4.99
Soft taco shells = 2.99
Evolve Protein Shake Snack (4 for 6.99)
That breaks down to 1.74 per shake
That’s not super economical so for me, these are not a daily option but an emergency grab once a week. Therefor 1 box of 4 lasts me for about a month.
