Pear and Arugula Salad

So simple to make but also so incredibly nourishing.

Arugula is known to have a slightly peppery taste. It’s very potent compared to a lot of other salad greens and because of that it goes really well with most types of cheese.

For the salad, I mixed a large portion of arugula with a bit of chopped romaine, some blue cheese and one sliced bartlett pear.

For the dressing I mixed some walnut oil with pink salt and white pepper. A dash of Prosecco if you happen to have it on hand is not a bad addition!

If you enjoy making a champagne based vinaigrette, I suggest buying some of the mini bottles that you can find in any grocery store to keep around.
